The unique beauty of the site was the starting point of our design reflection. The 3 bedrooms villa is envisioned as a succession of frames. The surrounding landscape is the true Artwork. The villa is the observation post. Each room features a monumental window acting as an art-frame delimiting the views. The house follows a simple arrangement of spaces, with three bedrooms laid out on the upper floor. The lower floor consists of the kitchen, dining and a large living area facing the outdoor pool and garden. The house uses post-tensioned concrete slabs, which are more commonly found in larger-scale commercial buildings in Thailand. The post-tension structure provides uninterrupted spaces on the lower level, where large glass windows can be opened to visually connect the interior spaces with the outdoor areas.
